Honeycomb
The honeycomb, also known as the hive, is where the bees live, and the common honeycomb is made up of multiple cells, mostly hexagonal in shape.
The honeycomb is built by worker bees, and the material used is beeswax produced by the abdominal wax glands of worker bees. It contains a large amount of honey, pollen, royal jelly, and other active ingredients, making it a rare health product that can be consumed directly.
We must also mention the honeycomb structure, which is so strong that it is used in the wings of airplanes and the walls of artificial satellites. The inside and outside of the hive (called the nest) are staggered exactly halfway apart, and the point where the sides of the combined hexagons cross is the centre of the inner hexagon.
The honeycomb of the honeybee is a very delicate, adaptable, and material-efficient structure. The bottom of the hive is neither flat nor round but pointed, made up of three identical diamond shapes. The hive is hexagonal in shape and the bee's body is basically cylindrical, so the bee does not have extra space in the hive and does not feel crowded.
This is to improve the strength and prevent the bottom of the hive from breaking. In addition, it is clear from the cross-sectional view that both sides of the hive are oriented toward the top.
The structure of the hive is astonishing and can be said to be a miraculous work of nature. It can be seen that the world of bees, which is still not well known, is far inferior to human intelligence in terms of natural creativity, just by looking at the hive.
Bees are social insects that have survived and thrived since the past, when they were older than humans, and have brought us honey, royal jelly, propolis, pollen, beeswax, and many other benefits.
In the early years of the new century, the creativity and wonder of bees in the process of making hive frames have led us to ponder.
The functions and effects of honeycomb
1. Honeycomb has good therapeutic effects on human respiratory diseases
Honeycomb, also known as honeycomb honey, is excellent for improving human immunity and antiviral ability and is therefore good for treating pharyngitis, rhinitis, and bronchitis, which are caused by infections with sensitive bacteria.
2. Honeycomb has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects
Honeycomb has excellent antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects, it can kill germs in many parts of the human body, and can also inhibit the regeneration of viruses in the human body, which is very effective in enhancing the body's resistance to disease.
3. Honeycomb has the effect of treating rhinitis
Honeycomb is very effective in the treatment of rhinitis and pharyngitis in humans because it contains a substance called honeycomb poison needles, which is a natural anti-inflammatory agent and can be consumed by people to act directly on the diseased area to quickly treat rhinitis.
4. Honeycomb has the effect of treating gastritis
The honeycomb has a very good effect on the human gastrointestinal tract and can play a role in the treatment of gastric ulcers and chronic gastritis.
